Describe what you'll bring to a nonprofit board: I come from an engineering and manufacturing background, so any initiatives that involve technical education, tradsmenships or similar will be in my wheelhouse. I also bring leadership and management experience. For the last decade, I managed departments and eventually entire companies. I have a strong listening ethic, as only good listeners make effective and respected leaders.

I currently own my own business and I am a Consulting CFO for a fast-growing construction firm. Many of my clients are non-profit organizations, and prior to owning my own company I was on the leadership team of a local non-profit organization.

I lived downtown during college, then the far west side, then the far east side, and now the southwest side. I have spent some time working with and volunteering at local nonprofits in a marketing and planning capacity, and I'm interested in finding a more formal and longer lasting way to contribute to a worthy cause. I offer marketing expertise and clear communication, strategy & planning savvy, budget management, and doing a lot with a little. My expertise is in volunteer management, special event planning, communications including social media and fundraising.
